Zhao Wumian

A contemporary Chinese artist.
Honorary president of the Kyushu University “Zhao Wumian Art Research Institute”, a member of the French National Artist Association, and a visiting scholar of the University of Hawaii in U.S.A.
is artistic concepts are deeply influenced by Mr. Lin Fengmian, Mr. Wu Dayu, Mr. Wu Guanzhong, Mr. Zhao Wuji, etc., and he is the last student of the academician of the Académie des beaux-arts (France Art Academy) Mr. Zhu Dequn. His works was praised as “full of the soul of Chinese by means of a new worldwide language” by the Spanish Artist Juan Ripolles.
 In 2015, he was titled the “Honorary Artist of the UN Millennium Development Goals” by KIP of the UN; in 2016, the Kyushu University in Japan established the “Zhao Wumian Art Research Institute” for him.
